SIM will be the exclusive provider of IOC “green card” training in Sept-Îles

As of June 1, 2013, SIM has the exclusive mandate to provide the “Green card” orientation course for IOC in Sept-Îles. This advanced course, mandatory for all workers who must go to the IOC site, requires a high level of expertise and a state-of-the-art management infrastructure. The awarding of this 3-year contract confirms the expertise SIM has developed in management and coordination as well as in health and safety training.

In addition to ensuring IOC subcontractor qualification and employee training records for facilities in Sept-Îles and Labrador City through Cognibox, SIM will be the exclusive provider of “green card” training in Sept-Îles. This 3-year agreement will enable the training of more than 1500 workers who will be required take this course in order to access IOC facilities.
