After discussions with current users and evaluation of various other solutions, IOC has selected Cognibox GC for its employee training and skills management. After Arcelor Mittal, Iamgold, Cliffs Natural resources, Québécor, Lafarge and Aluminerie Alouette, Cognibox GC arrives at IOC to complement SAP, which will still be used for human resources management. Simultaneous with the introduction of Cognibox GC, the SIM IT team will set up exchange gateways with the existing system for the transfer of historical data and to enable daily updates of company HR data to Cognibox.
This agreement covers not only the implementation of Cognibox GC for all of the IOC Mining Company and the management of 2800 employee profiles, but also the development of training planning features through a management grid that displays training needs (training plan) by department, by site, etc., and shows them on a monthly, annual or other basis.
