Description

This course presents the different operations of the Wharf Area and the applicable safety measures.

Target Audience

All contractor employees accessing one of the Wharf area.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Identify the key areas within the Wharf area
  • Describe the critical risks and their controls in these areas
  • Explain the Wharf area process overview
  • Identify the key equipment
  • List the safety rules followed in the Wharf area
  • Identify the area-specific personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pre-requisite

“RT-BC Area Safety Orientations for Plant Generic Overview” is mandatory for all contractors.

Please refer to your RT-BC project manager to validate which course will be necessary for your nature of work.

Registration and payment

10$ per course, per person. Payable online on this site with a credit card.

Multiple accesses can be bought at once and forwarded to different persons.
Cognibox members must register through Cognibox.

Evaluation

Built-in exam.

A certificate may be downloaded and printed from the Cognibox E-learning Platform.

Once the course is completed (success), the information will be saved in Cognibox, and will be accessible to authorized RioTinto Personnel for consultation.
