Description

Description of general hazards and risks related to confined spaces  and the 5 steps of a Confined Space entry.

Target Audience

All personnel and or employees working in a confined space.

Objectives

Be able to describe how to enter a Confined Space safely, efficiently and effectively according to RT policy and WorkSafe BC regulation section 9.

Prerequisite

Please refer to your RT-BC project manager to validate which course will be necessary for your nature of work.

Registration and payment

10$ per course, per person. Payable online on this site with a credit card.

Multiple accesses can be bought at once and forwarded to different persons.
Cognibox members must register through Cognibox.

Pedagogical Approach

Interactive e-learning presentation.

Evaluation

Built-in exam.

A certificate may be downloaded and printed from the Cognibox E-learning Platform.

Once the course is completed (success), the information will be saved in Cognibox, and will be accessible to authorized RioTinto Personnel for consultation.

Duration

60 Minutes.

The duration of the training is a general indication, and may vary significantly from one person to another.
